When you calligraphy you have to make sure that when you hold the pen at the specific angle so that you can write it comfortable,Adjust the pen before beginning,You need to hold the pen 30 to 60 degree angle because a calligraphy pen isn’t used the same way as a regular pen,Use a little pressure on pen and let the pen move back and forth ,apply light pressure and keep the lines parallel,Next is horizontal and vertical lines ,Draw horizontal or vertical lines or you can do both if yo want to ,Go through stroke chart,Then choose any color ink,If your using a pencil ,grip the Grip the pencil like you would when you sit down to write a letter Draw with your whole arm Do not keep your wrist on the desk .Why do need to grip your pencil? because it underscores the role of the thumb in pencil grip. The thumb provides stability and this can be done with the thumb in a number of different positions as long as the grip as a whole allows for easy finger movements.

How to improve calligraphy or cursive handwriting?
Well,For my opinion you try and try until you get it ,You just need practice that’s all, any way it will improve your calligraphy skills and try new mediums ,A new lettering supply can work wonders for jump starting your calligraphy skills or Study the cursive alphabet you might forgotten some cursive letters ,Practice it using your whole arm to write after practice the basic strokes and simple lines and circles but take it slowly, Stay Inspired.Compliment Yourself.
How do i write it fast and neat with a pen or a pencil?
